Work Experience
1995-Present: Arcadia Counseling Center
Outpatient psychotherapy, inpatient psychotherapy credentialed at Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital and Gulf Coast Treatment Center (1995-1997). Individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy.


1993-1995: 
1. McCoig-Pattison Counseling Center
Outpatient psychotherapy for individuals and couples.


2. Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital.  
Inpatient psychotherapy for individuals, groups and families.  

3. The Chautauqua Office of Psychology and Evaluation (COPE) Center in Defuniak Springs, FL. 
Outpatient individual and family therapy, group therapy for Sex Offenders under Florida State grant for convicted sex offenders in Walton and Okaloosa counties.


1992-1993:  Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital. 
Primary inpatient psychotherapist for the Acute Treatment Center (ATC), one year, Program Therapist for Residential Treatment Center (RTC), one year Provided individual, family, and group therapy for severely disturbed adolescents, and for children under age 14. 


1990-1992:   Bridgeway Center Inc.
Outpatient psychotherapist. Developed a comprehensive Domestic Violence Program/Anger Management Program and conducted individual marital/family, and group therapy (males and couples).


1989-1990:  Okaloosa Guidance Clinic.
Outpatient psychotherapist and intern. Completed intake assessment/evaluations and comprehensive psychosocial evaluations
 

1960-1984: Officer in the USAF. 
Married and raised two daughters in an Air Force setting with numerous moves, three accompanied assignments to Europe, Vietnam 1969-70, intimately familiar with the stress and difficulties of a life in the US military. Served as a pilot and instructor in several aircraft.


Subsidiary Credentialing Criteria

Group Psychotherapy:  Thirty six (36) hours of graduate course work.  Domestic violence male and couples groups: two hours weekly from 1990 to 1992 at Bridgeway Center.  Adolescent and children’s groups:  one one-hour group five days per week from 1992 to 1993 at Rivendell.

Individual Psychotherapy:  Received supervised individual therapy at Bridgeway Center from 1990 to 1992 with adults, adolescents and children.  Individual inpatient therapy with adolescents and children from 1992 to 1997 at Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital.  Individual therapy with adults, adolescents and children in private practice from 1993 to Present.

Marriage and Family Therapy:  Thirty six (36) hours of graduate course work.  Received supervised marriage and family therapy from 1990 to 1992 at Bridgeway Center.  Family therapy on a daily basis from 1992 to 1993 at Rivendell  ATC and RTC under the supervision of the Staff Psychiatrist and the Medical Director.  Continuous marriage and family therapy in private practice from 1993 to Present.
